Common questions
Do you deliver to my town?
Delivery and setup are free within twenty miles of Oak Park, which covers most of the near west suburbs. Outside that we quote a flat rate before you order, usually between $95 and $250.
How long does a custom order take?
Ten to fourteen weeks from the day you order to the day it is in your house. We give you a firm date, not a range, once the workshop confirms.
Do you negotiate on price?
No. The tag price is the price, and it is the same on a Tuesday in February as it is during a holiday weekend. We would rather price it honestly once.
Can I return something?
Stock pieces can come back within 30 days in the condition they left in, and we collect them ourselves. Custom orders are built to your spec, so those are final once production starts.
Is everything really solid wood?
Every case piece and table on our floor is solid hardwood, with no veneer over particleboard. Upholstered pieces have kiln-dried hardwood frames. If you want to know the species and the mill for any piece, ask and we will tell you.
Do you take away my old furniture?
Yes, on request, at the time of delivery. If it is in usable condition we pass it to a local resale charity rather than a landfill.
